Our story

Our passion is in the details.

I’m Alex Metz, the face behind 540 Detailing. I grew up in Botetourt County and have had a passion for anything on wheels since day one. Keeping my first vehicle clean and presentable is what showed me this was what I wanted to do for a living.

I started 540 Detailing in late 2020 and it has grown quickly since. With proper training and help from mentors, I learned the right techniques and chemicals to detail vehicles properly — and I’m always looking for ways to get better.
